Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. The book of Enoch is a heavily questioned book. While Enoch himself is mentioned in the Bible, the Book of Enoch is constantly argued for its authenticity. In today’s message, Pastor Michael speaks about why the book is argued so often; and explains the precise reasons that it isn’t included in the Bible.
It's believed that someone else wrote the Book of Enoch, and then attached Enoch’s name to it to make it more popular.
If it was really the Word of God, why would it need a fake identity?
