Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. It's totally normal to wrestle with or be uneasy about a passage of scripture. Sometimes we might think that there's something wrong with us if we doubt the Bible or we don't particularly like what it says... But in today's message, Pastor Michael will remind you that wrestling with the Bible and God is all a part of the process of becoming more Christ-like. When we wrestle with scripture, we're less in control, and most of us don't like that... But God becomes more in control and we're guided by Him.
