Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Today, Pastor Michael will be explaining the many prophetic similarities between Isaac and Jesus. Both were born miraculously, and both were given names specifically by God Himself. When God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, He referred to Isaac as his only son who he loves. Jesus of course is the only Son of God who died to take the sins of the world. All throughout the Old Testament, you can see Jesus within the pages. The Old Testament is a shadow pointing to the reality of Jesus.
