Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Where do you go when times get tough? Do you lean into worldly things, or do you trust in the Lord? In today’s edition of Burning Hearts, Pastor Michael talks about how when times get hard, we need to be the example and confidence in the Lord. With the surge in technology, it can be so easy to take comfort in worldly items. But, as Christians, Pastor Michael reminds us that we need to set an example. Christ is our firm foundation, so when times are hard, we need to trust in Him.
