Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Are you an impatient person? Do you get frustrated when someone is not going as fast as you would? In today’s edition of Burning Hearts, Pastor Michael talks about how sometimes we need to wait on the Lord. The Lord will always answer our prayers, but sometimes not in the time that we expect. His timing is perfect, and we have no idea what His timing is. When we wait on the Lord, we make sure that His will is being done. As we go on pursuing God, let's make sure to work at His pace, because He is perfect.
