Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Where are you spending your time, money and resources? Is it in investing in your own comfort or financial security? Is it on experiences or possessions? In today’s message, Pastor Michael will remind us of our calling in Christ. We’ve been given immeasurable grace and access to God’s redemptive power. He didn’t intend for us to hoard it. He wants us to use it to serve the people around us in our lives. Not just the people you like either. You’re called to bring healing and hope even to your enemies.
