Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Most of us don’t like being told what to do. We love the ability to live our life how we choose and combined with this, society tells us that the Bible is just an old relic that doesn’t relate to our modern society. Today, Pastor Michael wants you to know that you need to go His Word if you want to live your life to the fullest. You will never achieve what you want to achieve on your own accord. It’s only through Him that you are saved. Follow Jesus and take in the full council of His Word.
