Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. When you give to God, do you give with love and appreciation? Or do you give bitterly? Perhaps you're giving just enough, so you're straight with God without breaking into your budget. Today Pastor Michael will be looking at the story of the widow's mite, where you'll see Jesus teach his disciples that it's not the amount of money given that's important, but rather the sacrifice made in the offering. God doesn't judge what you give by the amount that it's worth, but by the size of your sacrifice to Him.
