Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Many of us could probably scarce imagine the disappointment of having everything at our fingertips to build a temple for God, only to be denied. In the case of King David, this is exactly what happened, yet David didn't exhibit a prideful outburst of anger. In today's message, Pastor Michael reflects on the importance of being humble before The Lord, no matter what His will might be.
