Welcome to the Burning Hearts Podcast! Our heart is to glorify Jesus Christ and draw people closer to Him through explaining Scriptures in a relevant and easy-to-understand way. Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Most of us wish we could physically see Jesus. How incredible would that be to walk and talk with Him and witness His miracles firsthand? Peter, the author of this book we’re studying with Pastor Michael, got to do that. Our experience of faith is completely different than his, and it requires much more faith. We have to base our beliefs off of things we’ve never seen. How far would you go for that faith? If you faced imprisonment or even death, would you stand strong like the early Church?
