Our name comes from two Scriptures: Luke 24:32 - They said to each other, ”Weren‘t our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining Scriptures to us.” Jeremiah 20:9 - Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Listening to Bible teaching or hanging out with fellow believers in worship and fellowship are wonderful things. For many believers, that’s the extent of their spiritual lives, but God has more for us. He has a bigger purpose for you. Just like Peter, you’re called to take the Gospel out of the walls of the Church. As Pastor Michael will challenge you in today’s message, you’re called to live it out. That’s going to be uncomfortable at times, but God will empower and equip you when you trust in Him.
