Are you being persecuted for your faith in the Lord? As you listen to today's message from Pastor Michael, he explains to you that you should consider this a blessing. S.O.A.R. Part 2

Are you waiting on the Lord? Or are you complaining to Him? In today's message from Pastor Michael, he teaches you that you'll get to where you want to be faster if you'd wait for the Lord. Waiting and trusting God to move you when He sees time, is much better than being stressed out and angry with Him. That's not going to get you anywhere faster. Pastor Michael encourages you, to instead trust that God has a good plan for your life. He's going to get you to where you need in order to be able to soar.

What do you consider are your callings from God while on this earth? In today's message from Pastor Michael, he teaches you that some are called to be pastors, mothers, and teachers. But did you also know that you are called by God to be a blessing? God desires for you to be a blessing and to give blessings to others while on this earth. That is a high calling from the Lord. And because God has blessed you, you can be a blessing to others. Find ways this week, where you can reach out and bless people.

1 Peter 3 Part 1

Our society today can place a lot of emphasis on the outward appearance of others. As you listen to today's message from Pastor Michael, he shares with you the importance of emphasizing what's eternal and what's inward. God is not looking at your outward appearance of you, but at what is truly going on in your heart. Pastor Michael encourages you, to stay focused on growing with the Lord. Let those you love to know, that they are loved by who they are. Not for what they look like outwardly.

Got Hope? Part 2

People are watching you. If they know you’re a Christian, and most likely they do, whether you’ve said so or not, they’re going to be watching you even closer. It seems like those who don’t believe have a knack for seeing every inconsistency between the way you live and the faith you profess. As Pastor Michael continues our study of 1^st Peter, he’ll remind us that we need to be ready to take every opportunity to share the truth in a genuine, loving way when they see the hope that you have.

Got Hope? Part 1

What do you put your hope in? Is it your skills and abilities at your job? Your money, relationships, or good works? Whatever it may be, it’s going to let you down at some point. As Pastor Michael will explain in today’s message, when you live that way, you’re bound to experience a lot of heartache and fear. But, when you place your faith in Christ, He offers steadfast hope. With Him, life will throw all kinds of problems your way, but you can have peace knowing that He’ll work all things for your good.

1 Peter 2 Part 2

When you become aware of your sin, you’ll likely feel overwhelmed with guilt and shame. We’re disgusting in contrast to the perfection of our Creator. Because of that guilt and shame, even after you’re saved, you may struggle with feeling accepted by Him. But, as Pastor Michael will remind us in today’s message when you take Jesus’ gift of salvation, you’re more than just accepted, God eagerly welcomes you as family. You’ve made a child and have direct access to our Father in Heaven.

1 Peter 2 Part 1

When you’ve been hurt by someone, especially when they purposefully caused you harm, forgiveness can be really hard. It’s your right to be angry. They deserve to suffer in proportion to the suffering they caused you. That may be, but God calls you to something better. He calls you to forgiveness and restoration. Jesus demonstrated the humility you’ll need when He died on the cross, and as Pastor Michael will remind us in today’s message, that sacrificial love should characterize our lives as believers.

The Opposing Team’s Strategy Part 2

If you’re driving on an old, winding forest service road, with a steep drop-off on one side, most likely you’re not going to see how close you can get to the edge before falling off. In that case, the outcome is apparent. It’s going to end badly for you. With sin, the outcome may not seem so obvious, but it’s the edge of a cliff. In today’s message, Pastor Michael will encourage us to stay far away from sin. Don’t give it any opportunity to sneak into your life, because before long it’ll explode into a huge problem.
